The Symphonic Band is for our intermediate players. This orchestra is performing in our Community, visiting local primary schools and taking part in KBB Festival every August. During every September this Band is invited to meet, and play with, other Musicians from high performing schools at King’s College Auckland. From Symphonic Band our Musicians are progressing to the Concert Band.
Activities for this ensemble include a Band Camp, KBB Festival and Gala Concerts. During every September this Band is invited to meet, and play with, other Musicians from high performing schools at King’s College Festival.
Rehearsals are held weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30pm all year.
