The Marae trip was an amazing cultural experience for all the Year 8 classes. The day was full of excitement and fun as we weaved flax, sang waiata and played traditional Maori games. It all started with a Powhiri which presented everyone with responsibilities and challenges to learn. A highlight was the senior school students working with us and sharing their knowledge.
