House Event - Mud Run 2024

The house system wrapped up another term with a splash as students and staff dove into the annual house mud run. The last Thursday of Term 1 saw over 600 eager participants, from Years 7 to 13, including enthusiastic staff members, gather for the thrilling event.

Against the backdrop of wet and wild weather, participants embraced the challenge of navigating through the muddy course around Crocodile Island and back to school. Lost shoes became a common sight as runners pushed through the obstacles with determination and laughter.

Amidst the chaos, Batten House emerged victorious, claiming their first win for the term. With muddy smiles and spirits high, participants celebrated the end of the term in style.

As Orewa College bids farewell to another successful house term, memories of the muddy adventure will undoubtedly linger, fueling anticipation for the next 2 terms and all the epic events that await.
