Last term we had our annual Gala Concert involving all of the main music ensembles at the college: Concert Band, Senior Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Orchestra, Four Octaves, Middle School Choir, both the Year 7 Class Band and Junior Band, both saxophone ensembles “Sax Grenade” and “Sax Bomb”, the trombone ensemble “Trom Bomb” and the Clarinet Quintet. A crowded auditorium was treated to a huge variety of music from jazz, popular music, original band compositions and even an arrangement by Jamie Hrstich, a year 13 student, We thank them for their hard work and contribution to music -making at the college and wish them well in their future endeavours.
