Te Whatu Ora will be testing all Year 7 students for vision difficulties on Tuesday 27 February.
This evening will give you the opportunity to meet your child’s homeroom or form teacher and get to know a little about how the year will progress. If you would like to talk about specific details or needs of your child, please make an appointment to see the teacher at an alternative time. Meeting points are as follows:

This will be held in the Staff Room.
Student leaders will be available to direct you.
We highly recommend that parents download and install the schoolbridge app.
When reporting absences via the app, it not only fills in all of your child's details, it allows the absence to be imported directly into the system. You can also look at previous absence reports and request 'exit passes' if your child needs to leave school during the day.

There will be an information evening on Thursday 8 February from 5.30-6.30pm in the Orewa Arts and Events Centre for any new students to the college who are interested in taking itinerant music lessons. Information will be given on instrumental lessons and how to register.
All students wanting itinerant lessons on an instrument or voice this year, (even if you had lessons last year) must fill out a registration form - click HERE to register.
This will take place on Friday 16 February in the Orewa Arts & Events Centre. Please CLICK HERE for the timetable.
Please remind your child(ren) to dress in full uniform. Students will be given a name card which they must hold when their photo is taken. If students do not have their correct name card, and photos need to be retaken, an administration fee of $25 plus the cost of the replacement student ID card will be charged.
There will be a catch-up day for ID photos on Friday 23 February for those students who were away on 16 February.
