Year 12 Physics students collect real-world data at Game Over Albany to support internal assessments.
Level 2 Physics students visited Game Over in Albany on Thursday 26 March to gather data for their internal assessments. The trip provided an opportunity to apply classroom learning in a practical setting. Students collected measurements related to speed, time, and motion by racing go-karts and observing from trackside.
Peers recorded lap times while others analysed aspects such as cornering speeds, forces, and safety features. The experience supported a deeper understanding of mechanics through real-world application.
The visit ran from late morning through to early afternoon and was supported by staff accompanying the group.
