Orewa College students took part in Pavement Art 2026, with Middle School and Senior entries judged across themed chalk designs.
House placings reflect strong participation across Dr Seuss and futuristic themes
Orewa College students took part in Pavement Art 2026, with entries created across two themes reflecting different year levels.
Middle School ākonga explored Dr Seuss-inspired ideas, combining unexpected elements in imaginative chalk designs. In the Senior division, students developed futuristic interpretations of Orewa College, using bold lines and colour to imagine the kura in the year 3000.
Sheppard featured in both divisions, placing second in the Middle School category and fifth in the Senior competition. Batten secured first place in the Middle School division, followed by Sheppard in second. Blake and McLaren shared third place, with Nepia placing fifth.
In the Senior results, Nepia placed first, with Blake second, Batten third, McLaren fourth, and Sheppard fifth.
