Year 9 student wins national essay writing competition
Congratulations to Chloe Heckler who has won the Women in Space Aotearoa New Zealand Space Up! 2025 Essay Competition for the Years 9 & 10 Category.
Women in Space Aotearoa New Zealand (WISANZ) notified Chloe of her outstanding achievement, praising her with "We were incredibly impressed with your journal entry. It was well researched and well written with a great sense of humour coming through. We also loved the accompanying drawings." This win highlights Chloe's writing ability, creativity, and passion for space science.
As a new Space Up! Member, Chloe will have opportunities to participate in future Space Up! community activities and competitions. We are proud of Chloe's achievement and look forward to seeing her continue to excel in her academic pursuits.
