Year 11 students excel at NZCETA UoA Pursuits competition on 21 August, surpassing North Shore High Schools.

On Thursday 21 August, five Year 11 ākonga: Emma Grieshaber, Eli Cunliffe, Joshua Bennett, Nathali Weerasinghe, and Georgia Gardiner delivered a standout performance at the NZCETA UoA Pursuits competition held at the University of Auckland. They competed in Marketing and Finance sections, emerging victorious over teams from Westlake High Schools and Rangitoto College.

“On 21 August, our students competed in the NZCETA UoA Pursuits competition and did exceptionally well, particularly in the Marketing and Finance sections. They proudly represented our school, displaying their strong business acumen and teamwork while competing against some of the top business schools in Auckland. Throughout the event, they truly embodied our school value of manaaki – showing respect, support, and care for others,” shared Mr MacLeod, their teacher.

This success highlights the students’ academic excellence, strong teamwork, and the leadership they displayed in representing our kura.
