Student Isabella Pickering secures second place in the National Cross Country Championships

Orewa College student Isabella Pickering has done her kura proud, placing second at the National Cross Country Championships held in Christchurch on Friday 15 August.

This follows her recent bronze medal finish at the Auckland Road Race Championships in the Intermediate grade. Isabella’s consistent performance and dedication have seen her go from strength to strength this season.

Her result also helped the U18 Auckland team secure a gold medal. While two of her teammates were unable to attend the medal ceremony, Isabella represented the region with pride.
