Year 7 and 8 netball teams earn top placings at North Harbour Zone Day, with Year 8 girls winning their second straight title.

Our Year 7 and 8 Netball teams delivered standout performances North Harbour Zone Day

taking on kura from across the North Harbour region.

On the first day of play, our Year 7/1 and Year 8/1 girls’ teams showed determination and skill in every match. Year 7/1 claimed 5th place after a thrilling one-point win over Whangaparāoa College. Year 8/1 successfully defended their 2024 title, beating Belmont by two points in the final. That victory means they now move on to the Auckland Inter-Zone Day on Thursday 14 August.

In wet and challenging conditions, our boys’ teams also made their mark. The Year 8 boys narrowly missed the semi-finals, while the Year 7 boys battled hard to secure 4th place after a strong run to the semi-finals.

It was a great couple of days of sport, teamwork and kura pride on display.
