Over 40 students braved a 6km mud run with obstacles, mud, and water on Wednesday 30 July.

Orewa College takes on Tough Guy & Gal challenge

On Wednesday 30 July, more than 40 Orewa College ākonga took on a gruelling 6km mud run packed with obstacles.

The course tested their strength and endurance with muddy trails, towering walls, net crawls, and waist-deep water. Although the conditions didn’t stop our students from pushing through every challenge.

Throughout the race, they encouraged each other from the first obstacle to the last. Laughter mixed with grit as friends hauled each other over walls, shared tips to get through tricky sections, and sprinted together for the finish line.

Special congratulations goes to Jacob Bickers, who placed 5th overall in the highly competitive senior boys’ division.
