Year 7 guitarist Jack Ward heading on tour with top Kiwi musicians

Year 7 ākonga Jack Ward from Mrs Nola’s class is already making serious waves with his electric guitar. Despite only playing for two years, Jack has been signed by leading New Zealand music agency TPA and he’s already performing alongside some of the country’s best-known musicians.

He’s hitting the stage with Sonar Flare, a powerhouse lineup that features artists from Op Shop, The Feelers and Zed. Jack’s also played at major corporate events hosted by Jeremy Corbett, showing his talent can shine on any stage.

With the upcoming school Battle of the Bands on the horizon, Jack is buzzing to perform for his house and kura. It’s clear his musical journey is only just beginning, and we’re all proud to watch it unfold.
