Highlights from House Netball
House Netball brought fast-paced action and strategic gameplay to the Orewa College courts, wrapping up after three weeks of round robin competition. Divided into three divisions: Years 7 and 8, 9 and 10, and Seniors, every house faced off with pride and determination.
Nepia dominated the tournament, winning both the Years 9–10 and Senior divisions with confident, coordinated play. McLaren topped the Year 7–8 table with strong early wins. Blake and Nepia also played their joker rounds strategically to boost their final scores.
The results are now incredibly close:
McLaren – 44 points
Nepia (J) – 44 points
Batten – 43 points
Sheppard – 41 points
Blake (J) – 35 points
From pinpoint passes to full-court defence, ākonga across all year levels gave it everything. House Netball 2025 was a showcase of competition, community, and kura pride.
