Celebrating Our School Values: Manaaki Greatness Awards
At Orewa College, our school values are lived every day. One of these values, manaaki (care and respect) is celebrated through the Manaaki Greatness Awards.
These awards acknowledge students, staff, and community members who demonstrate outstanding kindness, support, and contribution to others, either through a single act or through their ongoing attitude and presence within our kura.

Why We Celebrate Manaaki
The Manaaki Greatness Awards reflect the importance we place on respect for ourselves, each other, and the environment. This initiative:
Reinforces positive behaviours aligned with our school values
Celebrates kindness and service in all its forms
Strengthens a culture of care and connection across our school
Each award is a reminder that greatness lies not only in achievement, but also in the way we treat one another.
