Orewa College student Marco Polo Alcartado has been selected to represent Filipino Kiwis in the international Manila Live basketball tournament. He has now committed to the Adamson Baby Falcons programme in the Philippines.

Marco Alcartado Selected for Manila Live Basketball Tournament 

Orewa College student Marco Polo Alcartado has been selected to represent Filipino Kiwis on the international basketball stage and will now continue his journey with a leading basketball programme in the Philippines.

Between 31 March and 6 April, Marco took part in Manila Live — an international basketball tournament that draws talented players from Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. The event is more than just a competition — it's also a training ground and scouting opportunity for athletes hoping to be seen by high schools and colleges offering scholarships.
