Orewa College student Marco Polo Alcartado has been selected to represent Filipino Kiwis on the international basketball stage and will now continue his journey with a leading basketball programme in the Philippines.
Between 31 March and 6 April, Marco took part in Manila Live — an international basketball tournament that draws talented players from Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. The event is more than just a competition — it's also a training ground and scouting opportunity for athletes hoping to be seen by high schools and colleges offering scholarships.
