Level 3 Ocean Camp at Tāwharanui
A group of 58 senior students recently returned from the Level 3 Ocean Camp at Tāwharanui, an unforgettable experience designed to build confidence and strengthen friendships. With a Hawaiian getaway theme, students embraced the atmosphere in tropical shirts and hula dresses while taking part in a range of exciting activities.
Highlights of Ocean Camp:
Surfing & Snorkeling – Exploring the ocean and riding the waves.
Hula Dancing & Mocktail Making – Bringing island vibes to camp.
Giant Stand-Up Paddleboarding – A team challenge on the water.
Survivor Idol Hunt – Friendly competition with a teamwork twist.
More than just an adventure, Ocean Camp fosters personal growth and whanaungatanga. Students encouraged one another, stepped out of their comfort zones, and formed lasting connections.
