Outstanding Academic Achievement 

Several Orewa College students have earned NZQA scholarships in 2024—a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the dedication of their teachers and whānau.

A Standout Performance

Among this year’s recipients, Aston Sadgrove has achieved an Outstanding Scholarship in Biology—an exceptional accomplishment that places him among the top students in Aotearoa.

Principal Wiri Warriner expressed his pride in the students’ achievements:

Recognising Excellence

NZQA Scholarships represent the highest level of academic achievement at the secondary school level. Gaining a scholarship is a significant milestone and opens doors to further opportunities in tertiary education.
