Orewa College student Denise Swanepoel represented the U17 North Harbour Softball Team at the National Tournament in Christchurch, where her performance earned her a spot on the New Zealand U17 Girls Softball Tournament Team.

Orewa College student Denise Swanepoel has achieved an incredible milestone in softball. Over the holidays, Denise represented the U17 North Harbour Softball Team at the National Tournament in Christchurch, where her exceptional performance earned her a spot on the New Zealand U17 Girls Softball Tournament Team.

This achievement reflects Denise's dedication and skill on the field. “Representing North Harbour was already an honour,” Denise says, “but being named to the New Zealand team is a dream come true!”

Principal Wiri Warriner expressed his pride, saying, “This is a fantastic milestone for Denise, and we can’t wait to see what she achieves next. Ka mau te wehi!”
