Orewa College has teams of all ages and abilities playing at home at Orewa and around the Auckland region during the Summer terms.

Orewa College is proud to offer Cricket and has teams of all ages and abilities playing at home at Orewa and around the Auckland region during the Summer terms (1 and 4).  We have a strong relationship with Hibiscus Coast Cricket Club who facilitate our college cricket. Our cricketers currently form composite teams with students from fellow schools.

Year 7 & 8 Students

For year 7 and 8 players who wish to play Saturday Cricket, please contact Cricket Club Hibiscus Coast Cricket Club

Orewa College offers Zone Day and Inter-school Zone days.  Please contact Mr Vermeulen.

College Sport Cricket Information

Uniform

Sport tops must be purchased for junior cricket. Students must have appropriate footwear and pants.

Transport

School vans are used for transport to events when needed.

Communications

These can be via Daily Student Notices or on the School App.  Other communications will come via HBC Cricket, relevant to your team.

If you would like to assist this team with transport/coaching you will need to be Police Vetted by Orewa College

Orewa College sports shirts are available, please pay at Accounts and take your receipt to the Sports Office.  Pants are required and can be purchased from sports stores.
