Students receiving Itinerant music lessons are expected to:
Year 7-8 | $200 per year ($50 per term) |
Year 9 – 13 | $120 per year ($30 per term) |
Registering for Music Lessons
Students need to complete a REGISTRATION FORM online, to sign up for lessons. This registration process needs to be done each year, even if students have previously received lessons in school, as part of the itinerant music scheme. Completed forms will be collated by our department to place students. You will not be allocated lessons if you don’t register.
Placements are awarded to students on a first come first served basis.
Terminating Lessons
Should a student wish to terminate their lessons, they are required to email music@orewacollege.nz and lessons and payment will terminate at the end of that term.
End of Year Reports
Reports will only be supplied to students by their itinerant music teacher if they have successfully completed all 4 terms with them.
Music Information Evening Term 1
There is also a Music Information evening in February where new students will have the opportunity to find out more about the instruments we offer and register for lessons.
