Year 7 & 8 Course Booklet for 2025

The home room teacher is responsible for much of the curriculum in subjects such as English, Social Studies, Mathematics and Science. Students receive specialist teaching in:

• Arts - Dance/Drama, Music and Visual Arts 
• Language – Te Reo Maori, Mandarin and Japanese
• Technology Subjects – Food, Fabric, Digital Technology and Product Development

Year 7 & 8 Course Booklet for 2025

Year 8 students continue to be taught the majority of their core subjects in home room classes.  In addition they are given specialist teaching in:

• Arts - Dance/Drama, Music and Visual Arts 
• Language – Spanish, Mandarin or Japanese
• Te Reo is incorporated into homeroom programmes at Year 8
• Technology Subjects – Food, Fabric, Digital Technology and Product Development
