At Orewa College, we are committed to helping our students reach their full potential, and our first Scholarship Assembly was a key event that encourages academic excellence. Held at the Orewa Arts and Education Centre (OAEC), this special assembly was led by Associate Principal Guy Blanchard and Mr. Warriner.
The assembly focused on motivating students to take on the challenge of New Zealand Scholarship in 2025, a prestigious academic achievement that can set students apart in their future careers.

Inspiring Speakers: Alumni and 2024 NZ Scholarship recipients Natalie Sou and Aston Sadgrove shared their personal experiences and insights into the scholarship journey.
Student Encouragement: Natalie Sou encouraged students by saying, “Whether you think you can or you can’t, give it a go.” Aston Sadgrove described the NZ Scholarship as “the pinnacle of academic challenges you can do at school.”
Student Participation: The event was attended by a large number of students, eager to learn about the exciting opportunities the NZ Scholarship offers.
