Touch Rugby
Touch is a sport that has a long tradition at Orewa College having previously seen our schools team compete against the nation’s elite.  We offer girls, boys and mixed touch grades catering for all levels from beginner to elite.  We look to give our students positive experiences both locally and nationally and are looking at including international touch tours in the years to come.

Term 1:Premier Touch, Week 3 – 8. Senior Touch - Week 4 -8.

Term 4:Junior Touch Week 2-6

Uniform Requirements

Orewa College provides playing singlets. Each student is required to provide their own boots and black playing shorts.

Venues

    • North Harbour competitions are held at the following venues:

      • Beecroft Park, Wairau

      • Sunnynook Park, Sunnynook

      • Taharoto Park, Takapuna

    • Auckland competitions are held at the following venue:

      • Cox's Bay Reserve, Westmere

Practice Venues

Orewa College School fields.

Game times / Events

Premier teams play on a Monday night in term 1, times vary from 4 pm - 6:30 pm. Senior Teams play on a Tuesday night in term 1, times vary from 4 pm - 6:30 pm. Junior Teams play on a Tuesday night in term 4, times vary from 4 pm - 6:30 pm
