Orewa College Netball provides opportunities for skill development, fitness training, and team building. We welcome players of all levels, and support umpires through their training and accreditation.

Season Dates
Games are played at Netball North Harbour (NNH) in Northcote and the Netball season runs during Term 2 and part way through Term 3.
Game Days
Year 7 - Tuesday evenings.
Year 8 - Thursday evenings.
Year 9 - Monday evenings.
Year 10-13 - Saturday mornings.
Game times will be posted in the Facebook Group and the TeamReach app, and are also available on the NNH website.
Fees
Year 7-13 season fees are $220.
Premier team (Senior 1) season fees are $275.
A non-refundable $50 deposit on your child's netball fees must be paid before they can attend trials (this can be paid through the school's web portal from week 1). All students will be placed in a team, and no one misses out.
Registration
All players must register for trials using the online Netball Registration Form 2025. Trials will be held in Term 1 between week 4-6 and days/times will be confirmed closer to the time via email to students, whanau, and in the daily notices. We welcome players of any gender to register.
Uniform and Equipment
Players must wear an OC netball dress during games which can be purchased from our Sports Office for $TBC (Dresses were $95 in 2024). You can indicate whether you need to purchase a new dress when registering.
Practices
Practice is once a week at Orewa College, usually before or after school and a time/day will be decided collectively by each team. Coaches and Managers will communicate with players via the TeamReach app.
Student Umpires
We encourage students of all year levels to aim to achieve their netball umpire badge. A Umpiring 101 course will be held for new umpires before the season begins.
