Year 9 - 13 Students

At Orewa College we aim to meet the needs of all football players by providing sporting excellence, personal development and fun across all levels.

Teams play in a weekly competition, on a home and away basis. Competitions are North Harbour wide or Auckland wide depending on the grade the team is competing in. Premier teams compete at the Winter tournament in September if they qualify. Trials for the top teams take place at the end of term 1.

Uniform

We provide a shirt for each student. Students must have moulded boots (no metal sprigs), long Orewa College socks, black Orewa College Football shorts and shin pads.

Practices

Times will vary from team to team but are typically at least one per week. Times will be set depending on Coach availability.

Venues

Orewa College and various other schools in Auckland region.

Transport

School vans are used for away games.

Game times

Girls football takes place on Wednesday at 4pm. Boys football kicks-off on Saturday mornings at either 9am or 10am. Premier boys often play Friday evenings to avoid clashes with club football.

Communications

These can be via Daily Student Notices or on the School App.
