Hip Hop

There are three ensembles in the Hip Hop program at Orewa College - OsmiC Mega Crew, OutCast & OptiCs.

All crews are facilitated by a member of staff, with weekly before school/lunchtime rehearsals led and choreographed by student leaders.

OsmiC is OC’s first ever hip hop Mega Crew.

OsmiC is OCDA’s top competitive hip hop crew.

Auditions are held in term 4 of 2024 for the 2025 crew. Students will be selected based on their skill level, attitude and commitment.

Rehearsals: Thursday morning & Tuesday lunchtime.

OutCast is OCDA’s junior semi-competitive hip hop crew.

Auditions are held in Term 1 of 2025. Students will be selected based on their skill level, attitude and commitment.
