What an amazing experience. For most of the team it was our first time playing softball. We trained hard every lunchtime for 3 weeks showing our commitment. All the girls were excited to get on the pitch and played with enthusiasm. We lost our first game but were still optimistic for future games. When we played our second game the girls were scared by the Northcross pitcher but the whole team showed perseverance and kept on playing regardless of the almost professional opposing teams. We continued to play our games and as the day went along we had all improved compared to our first games. Our last game reflected how much by scoring 10 runs to 5 runs our first well deserved win of the day. We all bonded as a team and had many memorable moments together. We were very fortunate for this wonderful experience.
