Orewa College 1st XV finally delivered a home victory yesterday. If they proved one thing on Saturday, it's that their best defense is attack, with the backs finding the gaps in Rangitotos defense. They started the game without two of our biggest players in captain Chris Finau and second-rower Cameron Christie and things only got worse in the first minute losing prop James Wacokecoke.

Orewa College beat Rangitoto College 5 tries to 2 in a 36-12 win. It was great to have the support of the Silverdale Rugby Under 21, who are mainly ex Orewa College players.

The 2nds are still leading the way in the competition, coming away with a draw against Massey High school.

Both of the Youth 14 and Youth 16 failed to bring home a win on Saturday, with the Youth 14 suffering their 1st loss of the season.
