In celebration of where their origins and culture lay, Orewa Beach Kindergarten invited the Orewa College Kapa haka group to join them for morning tea. We had an enjoyable time singing and being sung to, we then joined in a waiata together and shared kai.

We have a wonderful sense of community between the kindergarten and the school, some of our students who performed were “not so long ago” sitting on the kindy mat themselves.

We look forward to sharing more times with the newly formed Kindy Kapa haka group.
