Orewa College 1st XI cricket team had an impressive win over Botany on Saturday to move to 2nd place on the table. This cements a top 4 finish and a semi final. This weekend is the final pool play match against top of the table Glendowie College. The aim is to win this 1B competition to move up into 1A, a competition Orewa College 1st XI have not been in before.

Well done to Logan Jones, Year 12, picking up his maiden 50 for the 2nd XI, finishing with 61 against Takapuna.

Orewa College Junior T20 side played Rosmini losing by 8 runs. A highlight was Vivaan Malhotra, Year 9, picking up 4 wickets for just 8 runs of his 4 overs. This week will see all 4 sides in action across the Auckland region, come on Saturday’s to support the teams at Orewa College.
