This annual competition was scheduled to be held at Rangitoto College Library but unfortunately the competition fell on the first evening of the Level 3 lockdown. The organisers at Rangitoto College pivoted and produced an online version to enable the competition to go ahead.

The competition comprises of six schools competing together and involves a team of 5 students reading six specified books, knowing them really well and answering a timed round of quiz questions on each book.

The Orewa College team participated enthusiastically and persevered throughout all the uncertainty leading up to the competition. They may not have won but are all still winners in our eyes. Mary Ellis & Fiona Smith-Pilling - Orewa College Library
