The Middle School Performing Arts Awards took place in the Arts and Events Centre on Tuesday 27 November.

Students, friends and family came to support the performers and the award winners. The Kapa Haka group opened the celebration and this was followed by the presentation of the awards for Contribution, Group Performance and Individual Performance for Kapa Haka, Dance, Drama and Music in Year 7 and 8, 9 and 10. The award presentations were interspersed with dance performances, choreographed by students, a performance by Sax Grenade and ended with a performance by the Jazz Orchestra. The major awards were won this year by: Syvana Hall-Tuau (Kapa Haka), Poppy Hawkings (Dance), James Aitken (Drama) and Dylan Blomquist (Music).
