Local Judo Club Ochiba sent some Orewa College students to compete at the Intermediate Schools Judo Tournament held in Hamilton during the school holidays. Orewa College students Lucas Djaiz and Fin Polkinghorne, Year 8, and Levi Gear, Year 7, who competed at this event. Levi Gear placed Gold and Fin Polkinghorne placed Silver in their respective divisions.
