We are into the final stretch of the year and as such, students are reminded that for those in Year 13 who are looking for University entrance or those in Year 12 hoping for an elusive scholarship post 2021, the last push into the external exams is important and worth it. Despite the relaxation on entry rank scores into University courses this year, it is still the end of year exams that will assist with gaining those final credits, or add to those Merit or Excellence endorsements for future scholarship possibilities. Using a varied approach to study and even learning about your learning style can assist with making the study more enjoyable and effective.
Year 12 students are encouraged to make a Career Appointment before they leave school if they have not yet seen a Careers staff member, they can do this by making an appointment in the Careers Hub at a time that suits; this does include students who are intending on leaving school at the end of this year, to discuss their plan for next year. Year 13 students are also reminded that if they would like to discuss their plans (or lack of) for next year, Career staff are available to book an appointment.
