The 1st XI Hockey team achieved their best ever result at the National Secondary School Tournament placing 5th after winning their final match in Whangarei. This finished a successful season where the team made it to the top tier of the SuperCity competition for the first time.

At the Mayhill Cup, the team overall were the third highest goal scoring team, and Michael Bakker, Year 13 & Ricardo Lewis Year 12, were joint fourth for top individual goal scorers.
