On Thursday 29 November, 9 Year 7 and 8 students, Bruno McLeod, Emily Healy, Zebedee Balsom-Skinner, Theo Morse, Izzy Goldbert, Blake Courtenay, Daniel Clement, Denny Harrison and Lilly Roberts represented Orewa College at the Auckland Athletics Championships at Mt Smart Stadium. The students competed in a wide range of track and field events including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, long jump, high jump and discus.

Congratulations to Theo Morse, 8DRM, for coming 2nd place in the 800m. Everybody did well in their events with many just missing out on a podium finish.
