Our Tabloid Sports Day is on Friday 26 March, school will finish at approximately 1.15pm. Students are able to arrive at school dressed up in their school house colours then report report to their Home rooms/Form classes. The school buses will be leaving at normal time and students will be supervised in the Orewa Arts and Event Centre with any other students who cannot be collected earlier.
Your child should arrive at school with sunblock applied (and extra to apply as required). All students must wear a hat (can be any hat) and are encouraged to cover up. They should have plenty of water and food for the day as the canteen hours and supplies will be limited on that day. A change of clothes and a towel is also recommended. Parents and whanau are welcome to visit but please note we do not have a designated area of staff assistance for parents and whanau as students rotate through activities and they may be difficult to locate. If you would still like to visit, please sign in at the main reception before visiting the back fields.
This will be a device free day (no Wifi will be available for students). They should leave their devices at home along with any other valuables. If the forecast predicts bad weather, an email will be sent on Thursday afternoon and Friday will become a normal school day. Please ensure you check your email for this notification.
The canteen will be open only at break 1 (10:15 - 10:30). It will have a limited menu and we encourage students to bring their own lunch. The canteen will also be located behind G3 (near the art block) for more convenience.
