Orewa College will again be competing in the annual AIMS games in Tauranga from 9 - 14 September. In fifteen years, the AIMS Games have gone from a small festival of sport, to what are now considered the International Championships for Intermediate and Middle schools. This year we are sending boys and girls from Year 7 and 8 that will be involved in the following sports - basketball, gymnastics, hockey, football, netball, water polo, cheer-leading and multi-sport & cross country.

This would not be possible if it were not for the involvement of parents and friends of the College that give up countless hours in coaching and managing these teams and individuals. We thank you very much for this and appreciate the support you give to Orewa College sport.

There is a compulsory meeting for all Coaches and managers of all AIMS teams this Wednesday, 29 August from 6.00pm-7.00pm in the school Staff Room located down Gate 2 opposite Student Reception. A meeting held with student participants today at lunchtime.
