2021 Youth World Cup Selection Congratulations

Tait Wenzlick, Year 13, was selected into the Under 20s wider training squad for the 2021 World Cup in Manchester, England that was to be held in 2021. Unfortunately, the World Cup has been deferred until 2022 due to the global COVID pandemic. Touch New Zealand felt it important to acknowledge the hard work the players have put in and still wanted to celebrate their achievements.

Tait has also been offered a player position in the Northern Strikers franchise to play in the Men's Premier Touch League which will play other franchises around New Zealand.
