Teams compete in Year 7 & 8 Zone Days and at the AIMS tournament in September.

Orewa College provides a playing top and students are to supply their own Orewa College PE shorts.

If you child's team is going to North Island champs (juniors) or nationals (seniors) then there will be an additional cost. North Islands are in Tauranga and Nationals in Palmerston North. Cost range $500 - $800. We do try and apply for grant money

Orewa College will provide a singlet and students are to supply their own shorts/spanx.
Teams will train twice a week, either in the morning or after school. Seniors can start training term 4 ready for the Term 1 competition.
Juniors start training around the middle of term 2 for their competition which starts the end of Term 3.
These can be via Daily Student Notices or on the School App.

Interest in Beach volleyball continues to grow. Orewa has had a number of students who have represented NZ at national level, with teams winning titles at North Harbour, Auckland and National levels. Students have the opportunity to enter the North Harbour, Auckland and New Zealand Volleyball Championships. The NZ Champs are held at Mount Maunganui in late January.
