Rugby

Year 7 & 8 Students

Teams compete in Year 7 & 8 Zone Days and at the AIMS games tournament in September.

Uniform

We provide a shirt for each student. Students must have appropriate footwear, long socks and black shorts and mouthguard.

Communication

Players, coaches and parents can use the College Sport to find out about upcoming games and results.

Official Weigh In

Held approximately mid-April in Gym 2. Details will be advertised in student daily notices.

Uniform

• 1st XV $150 (includes blazer hire and training top)
• All other grades $100 (includes training top)
• Shorts $35
• Socks $10
• Mouth guards $10
• 1st XV ties $20

Orewa Jerseys are provided by the school for all team members.

Socks, boots and mouth guards are the responsibility of the students

All the listed gear is available from the Sports Department. Pay at Accounts and take receipt to the Sports Office.

Practices

Orewa College fields – Two nights per week usually 3.30pm – 5.00pm.

Game Times

1st XV: Saturday Midday

2nd XV: Saturday 9.30am

All others either 9.30am or 10.40am

Girls play Monday 4pm (home and away)

Calendar

Games start early May with finals late August

Transport

Students need to make their own way to and from games.
