The Year 7 & 8 Netball season runs from the start of Term 2 until the middle of Term 3. Games are played at Netball North Harbour in Northcote. Year 7 plays on a Tuesday and Year 8's on Thursday evenings. We welcome boys into our teams.
Sport Fees: $50.00 cost for trials (non-refundable) and it will be deducted from the players overall $180 fee.

We supply bibs (practice and game), balls and training equipment. Uniform consists of a dress which is purchased from our Sports Office at a cost of $95. It can be worn for several years and we will help you to sell second-hand uniform.
Practice is usually once a week at Orewa College. The coach will meet with the team to agree on the best time. If adults are coaching then practice is usually after school.

We encourage students to study for a netball umpire badge so they improve their knowledge of the game and can umpire for our teams (paid position) as they move up the year levels. Most of our umpires are Year 9 girls (who play at Northcote on Monday evenings), although we do have some Year 7 and 8 umpires. We also have senior students and parents who umpire for us from time to time.
If you would like to assist with the team, either with transport, coaching or managing you will need to be Police Vetted by Orewa College.
